Terms and Conditions of Booking

Below, you will find the terms and conditions of booking with Noblethorpe Hall

Welcome to Noblethorpe Hall. These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings made through our website (noblethorpehall.co.uk) for both Estate Accommodation and Event Tickets. By placing a reservation, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Definitions

  • "The Estate" refers to Noblethorpe Hall, its grounds, and all associated outbuildings.

  • "The Guest", "You", or "Your" refers to the lead person making the booking and all members of their party.

  • "We", "Us", or "Our" refers to Noblethorpe Hall Management.

  • "Accommodation Booking" refers to the private rental of the Estate for overnight stays.

  • "Event Ticket" refers to passes purchased for specific, publicly or privately hosted events on the Estate grounds (e.g., Galas, Tastings).

2. Booking and Payment

  • 2.1 Dynamic Pricing: Prices for Accommodation Bookings are dynamically generated based on demand, seasonality, and proximity to the check-in date. The price displayed at checkout is final at the time of purchase.

  • 2.2 Payment: Full payment, including all applicable taxes and the mandatory cleaning fee, is required at the time of booking via our secure online checkout to confirm your reservation.

  • 2.3 Booking Confirmation: A booking is only confirmed once full payment has been successfully processed and a confirmation email containing your unique Booking Reference (e.g., Order #) is issued.

3. Cancellations & Amendments by the Guest

Given the exclusive nature of Noblethorpe Hall, we operate a strict cancellation policy to protect against loss of high-value inventory.

  • 3.1 Accommodation Bookings: * Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the check-in date will receive a full refund, minus a [Insert %] administrative fee.

    • Cancellations made between 30 and 60 days prior to the check-in date will receive a 50% refund.

    • Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the check-in date are strictly non-refundable.

  • 3.2 Event Tickets: All Event Tickets and passes are strictly non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another individual by notifying us in writing at least 48 hours prior to the event.

  • 3.3 Early Departures: No refunds will be given for early departures or shortened stays after check-in.

4. Security Deposit & Damages

  • 4.1 Pre-Authorization: For Accommodation Bookings, a security deposit pre-authorization of £[Insert Amount, e.g., 1,500] will be required prior to or upon arrival.

  • 4.2 Liability for Damage: The Guest is fully responsible for any damage, breakages, or theft caused to the Estate, its contents, or its grounds during their stay.

  • 4.3 Additional Charges: If the cost of repairing damage or conducting deep cleaning (beyond the standard cleaning fee) exceeds the security deposit, the Guest agrees to be invoiced for the remaining balance, payable within 7 days.

5. Check-In, Check-Out & Pre-Arrival Security

  • 5.1 Timings: Standard check-in is from [Insert Time, e.g., 3:00 PM] and check-out is strictly by [Insert Time, e.g., 11:00 AM]. Late check-outs must be pre-approved and may incur additional fees.

  • 5.2 Estate Security & Access: Noblethorpe Hall operates secure automated gates. All overnight Guests must complete our Pre-Arrival Registration Form, providing valid vehicle registration plates to ensure gate access. Vehicles not registered in advance may be denied entry.

6. Guest Obligations & House Rules

  • 6.1 Capacity Limits: The maximum occupancy of the Estate must not exceed the number of guests agreed upon at the time of booking. Unauthorized external guests or visitors are not permitted without prior written consent.

  • 6.2 Events & Parties: Accommodation Bookings are for residential use only. Hosting unauthorized parties, weddings, or commercial events during an Accommodation Booking is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate eviction without refund.

  • 6.3 Noise & Conduct: Noblethorpe Hall is a historic luxury estate. Guests must respect the property and surrounding neighbors. Excessive noise, disruptive behavior, or illegal activities will result in immediate termination of the booking.

  • 6.4 Smoking & Pets: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all buildings on the Estate. [Insert Pet Policy: e.g., Pets are not permitted / Dogs are permitted by prior arrangement only and subject to a pet fee].

7. Cancellations by Us

  • 7.1 Force Majeure: We reserve the right to cancel any booking due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather, structural damage, loss of utilities, government mandates). In such an event, you will receive a full refund of all monies paid, but we will have no further liability for any consequential losses (e.g., travel expenses).

8. Liability

  • 8.1 Personal Property: We accept no liability for the loss, theft, or damage of Guest vehicles, personal belongings, or valuables during your stay or while attending an event.

  • 8.2 Personal Injury: We accept no responsibility for any personal injury or death sustained by the Guest or their party while on the Estate, except where such injury is caused by our proven negligence.

9. Privacy & Data

Your personal data, including vehicle registration details collected for security purposes, will be stored and processed securely in accordance with our [Link to Privacy Policy] and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
